On June 13, H.E. Ambassador Liu Jin met with Dr. Ismaila Ceesay, Party Leader of Citizens' Alliance and Senior Lecturer at UTG.

Dr. Ismaila Ceesay introduced his recent visit to China to participate in the "Seminar on Chinese Modernization and African Development" and to attend the 12th Meeting of the China-Africa Think Tanks Forum. He expressed his willingness to actively participate in the exchanges between academics and think tanks in China and The Gambia, and to contribute to the friendly China-Gambia relations and mutually beneficial cooperation.

H.E. Ambassador Liu expressed his appreciation and introduced the development of China-Gambia relations. He said that the healthy development of China-Gambia relations requires support and contribution from all walks of life in The Gambia. The Chinese Embassy is willing to strengthen exchanges and explore cooperation with people from all walks of life in The Gambia.
