On June 21, H.E. Ambassador Liu Jin met with Hon. Tijan Jaiteh, Goodwill Ambassador of The Gambia.

Hon. Tijan Jaiteh introduced his duties and work. He expressed his willingness to actively participate in the sports and people-to-people exchanges between China and The Gambia, and to contribute to the friendly China-Gambia relations and mutually beneficial cooperation.

H.E. Ambassador Liu introduced the latest developments in exchanges and cooperation between the two countries after the pandemic. He said that the healthy and stable development of China-Gambia relations requires support and contribution from all walks of life in The Gambia. The Chinese Embassy is willing to strengthen exchanges with people from all walks of life in The Gambia to promote China-Gambia friendship together.
