On 8 August, H.E. Ambassador Liu Jin met with Hon. Minister of Transport Works and Infrastructure Ebrima Sillah.

Ambassador Liu said that infrastructure development is one of the priority areas of China-Gambia cooperation. China is willing to deepen cooperation with The Gambia on the basis of the results achieved, and help The Gambia continuously improve infrastructure, strengthen capacity building, and advance economic and social development.

Minister Sillah positively reviewed the results of the Gambia-China cooperation, thanked China for its assistance in building the Road and Bridge in URR, which greatly improved the transport situation of the inland areas of The Gambia, and welcomed China's outstanding enterprises to continuously participate in The Gambia's infrastructure development.
