On August 9, H.E. Ambassador Liu Jin met with Hon. Ousman Bojang, Governor of West Coast Region, Hon. Samba Bah, Governor of Upper River Region, Hon. Ousman Bah, Governor of Central River Region, Hon. Seedy Lamin Bah, Governor of Lower River Region, and Hon. Lamin Saidykhan, Governor of North Bank Region. H.E. Ambassador Liu introduced the latest developments of bilateral exchanges and cooperation in various areas after the pandemic. The two sides exchanged views fully and friendly on further developing bilateral relations, especially on the role of local governments, and agreed that China-Gambia friendship and cooperation is not only between governments, but also between ordinary people. The two sides should follow the strategic guidance of H.E. President Xi Jinping and H.E. President Adama Barrow, promote more local exchanges, and better the role of China Medical Team and Chinese agricultural experts, so as to let bilateral cooperation benefit the two countries and peoples more. The two sides agreed to establish an exchanges mechanism.
