During the 3rd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, CGTN’s Africa Production Center and Gambian media gave a joint coverage on the 3rd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation.

Mr. Momodou Lamin Choi, QTV reporter and Dr. Ismaila Ceesay, renowned Gambian scholar joined CGTN's "Talk Africa" to introduce the important actions announced by H.E. President Xi Jinping to support joint construction of high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, which create new opportunities for Africa's integration, inclusive and green development, and infrastructure construction. They also spoke highly of the concept of shared prosperity and shared future advocated by the BRI. Mr. Daniel Arapmoi from CGTN’s Africa Production Center conducted on-site interviews at URR Road and Bridges and the International Conference Center. He also served as a guest on QTV’s "This Morning" and vividly described the impact of China-Gambia BRI cooperation on The Gambia’s development and people's livelihoods. Earlier, Ms. Jankey Touray from GRTS participated in the CGTN BRI 10th anniversary special radio program in Beijing, introducing projects undertaken by Chinese companies to effectively improve the current situation of electricity shortage in The Gambia.
