On 22 January 2025, the Chinese Embassy in The Gambia held 2025 Spring Festival Reception to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year. Overseas Chinese in The Gambia were cordially invited to join the event, coming together to enjoy a truly wonderful and memorable night filled with joy and festive spirit. 

In his speech, H.E. Ambassador Liu Jin extended his sincere new year wishes to the guests, encouraged overseas Chinese to continue to work hard and actively contribute to the friendship between China and The Gambia.

At the reception, overseas Chinese in The Gambia and the diplomats of the Chinese Embassy presented a variety of performances, including solo singing, chorus, cross-talk, street dance, and so on, extending warmest wishes for a prosperous and joyous Chinese New Year to all Chinese and Gambian friends.
