On February 5th, the Chinese Embassy in The Gambia held a Spring Festival reception, inviting guests from all sectors in The Gambia to celebrate the Chinese Spring Festival.

Ambassador Liu Jin made welcome remarks, extending Spring Festival greetings to people attending the reception. He stated that China is willing to work hand in hand with The Gambia to consolidate the strategic partnership under the guidance of the two leaders, and implement the outcomes of the FOCAC Summit. During the reception, Ambassador Liu Jin also bid farewell to Counselor Zhou Ningyu who completed his tour of duty and was about to leave his post, and welcomed his successor Counselor Zhao Shangseng.
