H.E. Ambassador Liu Jin briefed Hon. Speaker Fabakary Tombong Jatta and Hon. Members of the Gambia-China Friendship Group on the "Global Civilization Initiative" (GCI) proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping and China's "two sessions". H.E. Ambassador Liu Jin said that it is very meaningful to celebrate the 7th anniversary of the resumption of diplomatic relations between China and The Gambia together with Hon. Speaker Fabakary Tombong Jatta and Hon. Members of the Gambia-China Friendship Group. Since the resumption of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the China-Gambia relations have developed healthily and steadily. Hon. Speaker Fabakary Tombong Jatta's appointment as the chairman of the Gambia-China Friendship Group reflects the friendship between the two countries.
