On June 16, H.E. Ambassador Liu Jin met with Hon. Abdoulie Sanyang, Inspector General of Gambia Police Force.

Ambassador Liu introduced new developments in China-Gambia relations after the pandemic, and appreciated Gambia Police Force for protecting safety of Chinese citizens and institutions in The Gambia. He expressed that China is willing to strengthen law enforcement cooperation and personnel exchanges with The Gambia.

Inspector General Sanyang said that Gambia Police Force is grateful for China's assistance and will adhere to the one-China principle, strengthen bilateral exchanges and cooperation on the basis of mutual trust and respect, and contribute to Gambia-China friendship.
