On April 16, the fourth China-Gambia Bantaba was successfully held at Busura Village, Brikama. Counsellor Zhao Shangsen, accompanied by young diplomats from the embassy, visited local schools, clinic center and mosques, before attending the Bantaba called by Alkalo of Busura Village, Mr. Pa Alieu Faye. They engaged in warm conversations with local residents. More than a hundred villagers participated in the event. They performed traditional dances to welcome the Chinese brothers. This Embassy donated some school stationery and daily necessities to local schools and community. Alkalo Mr. Pa Alieu Faye and representatives of the villagers expressed their gratitude to the Chinese Embassy for providing needed assistance.
