On March 10, Ambassador Liu Jin met with Ye Anping, FAO Director of the South-South and Triangular Cooperation, and Moshibudi Rampedi, FAO Representative in The Gambia.

Ambassador Liu welcomed Director Ye's visit to The Gambia and congratulated him on the successful launch of the South-South cooperation projects jointly implemented by both sides. China is willing to continue strengthening cooperation with international organizations such as the FAO, making multilateral cooperation a new channel for promoting China-Gambia cooperation.

Director Ye thanked China for its support to the FAO's South-South cooperation projects and expressed hope that both sides would further strengthen exchanges, deepen cooperation, and jointly contribute to the agricultural development process in The Gambia.
